Castlemeadow Care Castlemeadow Care is a family-owned care business supporting over 300 people in care homes in Norfolk and Suffolk.

We offer short-term and full time residential and nursing care, as well as supporting people living with dementia. Castlemeadow Care was established in 1999 as a family-owned care provider. Since we were founded, our philosophy has always been to provide the best care possible, and 'creating special moments' for our residents, helping them to live fulfilling lives. We offer a number of specialist care services and support through our care homes and assisted living developments. We currently have six unique care homes under our Castlemeadow Care brand. These are:
- Highfield House, Halesworth - where we provided residential and dementia care;
- Lincoln House, Swanton Morley, near Dereham - where we provide residential and nursing care;
- The Mayfields, Long Stratton, - where we provide residential and dementia care;
- The Paddocks, Swaffham - where we provide residential and dementia care;
- St John's House, Norwich - where we provide residential and dementia care;
- Wyndham House, North Wootton, near King's Lynn - where we provide residential and dementia care. We also have an assisted living development at Woodgate Park, Swanton Morley, where nearly 40 people live independently in their own bungalows, with our support.

The festive season is a magical time here at Castlemeadow Care! From decking the halls to celebrating Christmas Day, we love making the season special for our residents. ✨

Here’s a glimpse of how we get into the Christmas spirit:

🌟 Decorating & Crafts – Residents help transform our home with festive decorations and handmade cards, spreading holiday cheer everywhere!
🎶 Entertainment & Activities – Nativity plays, carol singalongs, quizzes, games, and even indoor snowball fights keep everyone smiling.
🎁 Family & Community – We welcome loved ones for Christmas parties and invite local older people to join our celebrations, making sure no one feels alone this season.
🍽️ Festive Feast – From a delicious Christmas breakfast to a sumptuous Christmas dinner with all the trimmings, we make sure every resident enjoys their favourite festive foods.
🎬 Relax & Reflect – Residents unwind with classic Christmas movies, festive TV specials, and lots of laughter, silliness, and storytelling.

At Castlemeadow Care, our doors are always open to visitors! Whether you’re curious about our home or considering care for a loved one, here’s what to expect:

✨ Warm Welcome – You’ll be greeted by name and offered refreshments.

👀 Home Tour – Explore our facilities, meet our residents and care team, and get a feel for daily life here. You may even join in an activity!

⏰ No Rush – Tours aren’t time-limited, so feel free to ask as many questions as you like.

🤝 Private Discussion – At the end of your visit, meet our Home Manager to discuss your care needs, weekly costs, and how we assess the level of care required.

📝 Follow-Up – We’ll take notes throughout your visit and ask if you’re happy for us to stay in touch.

Castlemeadow Care was established in 1999 as a family-owned care provider that owns a range of Care Homes in Norfolk. Since we were founded our philosophy has been to provide the best care possible to those of later life to ensure that they can live fulfilling lives no matter their age. We offer a number of specialist care services and support through our care homes and assisted living developments. We currently have five unique Care Homes under our Castlemeadow Care brand, these are: St John's House, The Paddocks, The Mayfields, Lincoln House and Wyndham House. As well as this, we also have a retirement living development Woodgate Park.
