Earlier this week we had the honour of attending a beautiful funeral service at the lovely local Church of St Mary, Yelverton.

Although it was a cold spring day, the church was filled to capacity with family and friends who came together to remember and celebrate a much-loved life. There were gentle hints of spring in the air, a quiet reminder of reflection, remembrance, and new beginnings.

It was a truly touching service, and we were privileged to support the family and ensure everything was carried out with care, dignity, and respect.

Our thoughts remain with the family at this difficult time.

We will be holding our Mother's Day memorial service this year on Saturday 14th March at 11am. Please join us while we remember and pay tribute to that special mother figure in your lifBecs Buss Funeral Celebrante wonderful Becs Buss Funeral Celebrant who will be leading our service and we would love you to stay for complimentary tea/coffee and cake afterwards. It might be nice to wear your Mum’s, Grandma’s, Nanny’s or Wife’s favorite colour to our service as a tribute. Let’s make it a colourful morning!

We will also be playing a video tribute during the service and we would like to invite you to submit your photos of the special lady you are missing to be included in the tribute. Photo's can be sent to stfaith.crematorium@thecmg.co.uk or posted in the comments below.

As an independent funeral director, we provide a straightforward and dignified direct cremation service for families who prefer a simple arrangement without a traditional funeral.

We take care of everything, including:
• Bringing your loved one into our care
• All legal and cremation arrangements

• Visit to our chapel of rest to see your loved one (during office hours)
• You are informed of the date and time of the cremation
Families can then choose to hold a personal
memorial or celebration of life in their own time.

Today we were at St Faiths Crematorium as we took Country Music singer Terry Edwards, on his final journey.
I'm sure he would have been so pleased with how many came to say a final farewell.
We listened to recordings of him singing, shared memories, a few naughty words and the service ended with a round of applause 👏

As 2025 comes to an end, we would like to thank every family that has entrusted their loved one to us, it is a privilege that we never take for granted 🙏

The sun was shining this morning as Chedgrave Bowls Club hosted their annual sponsors day, Emma and James accepted the invitation and had a lovely time meeting members, fellow business sponsors and enjoying a few games of bowls.

They didnt win the sponsors trophy, but had a very enjoyable time, thank you to Paul and Stuart and all who organised the event.🙏

Many thanks also to The White Horse Pub Chedgrave for the refreshments and hospitality.
