Last month we said our goodbyes at Colney Wood in a truly meaningful and heartfelt service led by Pam Wilks - Norfolk Civil Celebrant.

It was a beautiful tribute, and a privilege to come together to celebrate a life so well lived. Wearing our pink ties was a small but special way to honour and remember with warmth, love, and a touch of personality—just as it should be.

A couple of recent services that were truly special in their own ways 💜

At Waveney Memorial Park & Crematorium, we saw a beautiful and unusual floral tribute in shades of purple — a striking and heartfelt way to honour a loved one, thank you to Elizabeths the Florist's for creating the tribute.

We also had the privilege of supporting a traditional church funeral at St Mary’s, Saxlingham Nethergate, celebrating the long life of a devoted church member and former choir singer. It was especially touching to see the current church choir taking part in the service — a wonderful tribute filled with music, memories, and community.

Every farewell is unique, and it’s always an honour to help families create something meaningful.

Along with R B Copping Independent Funeral Services , we said goodbye to a funny, loving and very popular lady at St Faiths Crematorium last week.
I was privileged to support her wonderful family to celebrate her life, who wrote to me saying.....
'Thank you 🙏 for delivering our words in such a nice way , everybody who came over & spoke to us after the service said how nice it was & praised you for the way you delivered it , it really summed mum up to a T and said what a lovely fit you were . Mum would have loved that.
Thank you so much & I know my dad was fond of you too 😁as he wouldn’t let go of your hand! I’ve told him 'That’s ok I’ll book Cathy for yours' 😳 sorry that’s my mum’s sense of humour coming out in me 🤭. Thank you so much X'

Mothering Sunday can be a bittersweet day for many. Today we remember the mums, step-mums and mother figures who are no longer with us but will always live on in our hearts. 💐

Your love, guidance, and memories stay with us every day. You may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.

Thinking of everyone who is missing their mum today. ❤️

🕊Earlier this week we were honoured to support a funeral service at St Peter’s Church, Swainsthorpe that was a little different, but incredibly personal and meaningful.

The church had been thoughtfully arranged in a café-style setting, creating a warm and welcoming space for family and friends to gather, share memories and celebrate a life well lived. The coffin itself was uniquely designed and beautifully decorated by the family, a touching tribute that reflected the individuality and love surrounding the occasion🕊🤍

A heartfelt thank you to ETS Sales & Hire Ltd for kindly providing the TV screen used to display the family’s slideshow of treasured memories, which added such a special and personal touch to the service.

We would also like to thank Tina at Flour Pot Catering for the refreshments and the beautiful decorations throughout the church, which helped create such a comforting and welcoming atmosphere for everyone attending.

It was a privilege to be part of such a thoughtful farewell. 🕯🤍
