Curious about neurodiversity coaching?
Tonight Lisa and I are going live on Facebook for a relaxed “Ask Us Anything” about neurodiversity coaching and the ATTUNED Approach.
If you’ve ever wondered about:• training as a neurodiversity coach• how the ATTUNED model works in practice• the difference between coaching and therapy• or anything else about neurodivergence and practice
…this is your chance to ask.
It’s not a webinar or a presentation, just an open conversation.
📍 Facebook Live🗓 Tonight at 7pm

If you already have a question, feel free to drop it below and we’ll pick some to answer during the session.

There are just over two weeks until our Extended ATTUNED neurodiversity coach training begins and we still have a few places available.

• This course is for people who want to make a real difference in the lives of neurodivergent individuals.
• Many of our coaches are neurodivergent adults, parents of neurodivergent children or people who have seen first-hand how misunderstood neurodivergence can be.

It is a fully accredited coaching qualification, accredited by the Association for Coaching. You do not need to be a coach already.

This training can open the door to a completely new career, or allow you to support others in a way that is informed, respectful, and genuinely neuroaffirmative.
The Extended ATTUNED route is designed to be manageable alongside real life:

• Just 2 hours per week initially
• Term-time only
• A gentler pace, with space to think, reflect, and integrate

Many people join because they have a desire to support neurodivergent children or adults, having experienced the lack of effective, neuroaffirmative, attuned support in the neurodivergent community.

What people discover along the way is that they are part of building something much bigger - a new path, a new community, and a way to support others who have walked a similar road.

This is the only slower-paced ATTUNED cohort currently planned, and places are limited.

We are also enrolling for our next standard paced cohort – starting in May
If this speaks to you, you are very welcome to join us and you can watch our information webinar here (link - https://youtu.be/RBCI0wgqewM) or find out more about us at www.attunedapproach.co.uk

I have another letter after my name!
I am now officially AuDHD as I received my autism diagnosis last week.
For me, this isn’t a reinvention, it’s an explanation.
When I disclosed my ADHD diagnosis on social media, I said if you knew me IRL and that surprised you, then I needed to introduce you to the concept of masking.
The same is true of this diagnosis, if this doesn’t look like the version of autism you hold in mind, that’s exactly the point. Masking is powerful. So are late diagnoses and so is the ability to build a career while quietly navigating a very different internal landscape.
Nothing about me or my work changes. If anything, it deepens.
And yes, I’m very comfortable being open about it.

🧠✨ Neuroaffirmative practice isn’t just about being kind — it’s about being just.

In the spirit of The Canary Code by Ludmila Praslova, neuroaffirmative approaches go beyond individual support and call for systemic change. Praslova reminds us that like canaries in coal mines, neurodivergent folks are often early indicators of environments that are fundamentally unwell — not just for them, but for everyone.

Rather than framing neurodivergence as a deficit to fix, neuroaffirmative practice recognizes it as a vital form of human diversity. It asks: What if the “problem” isn’t in the person, but in the structure?

That’s why true inclusion means more than awareness or empathy. It demands accommodations designed into systems from the start — not retrofitted after harm. It calls on us to change the coal mine, not blame the canary.

This is the heartbeat of our Attuned Approach — a framework rooted in neuroaffirmative values and built to reshape systems of care, learning, and community from the inside out.

🎤 Emma is delivering training on Neurodiversity and Trauma to housing and mental health professionals today.

The intersection of trauma and neurodivergence is complex. We take the position that being neurodivergent in a predominantly neurotypical world is inherently traumatising – so it’s impossible to ignore. Our experience shows that trauma is a part of every client’s journey.

🤝 While we train our coaches to be coaches, not therapists, we ensure they deeply understand this intersection. We equip them with clear boundaries between coaching and therapy to protect both themselves and their clients, and with the skills to manage these situations safely when they arise.

Safe, ethical practice was fundamental when we created ATTUNED Neurodiversity Coach Training, and our approach to trauma is a powerful example of this commitment.

💬 Have you encountered challenges where neurodivergence and trauma overlap in your work or life? How have you navigated them?

👇 Share your experiences or questions below – let’s learn and support each other!
