Hebron Housing Receives £20,000 National Lottery Grant to Transform Tenant Garden
We’re thrilled to announce that Hebron Housing has been awarded £20,000 by The National Lottery Community Fund to refurbish the communal garden at our main office and Magnolia House. This funding will help us create a safe, welcoming, and calming outdoor space for all our tenants.
The refurbished garden will feature grassed areas, raised beds, and a patio space—perfect for relaxing, studying, or simply gathering thoughts. It will be a communal space for tenants from across our properties to enjoy, providing a quiet haven in the heart of the community. There are even plans to host a garden party in the summer months, giving tenants the chance to celebrate and enjoy the space together.
One of our tenants shared their excitement about the project:
"I’m really looking forward to having a quiet place to sit and relax. It will be lovely to have a garden where we can all come together and feel calm."
Sara Garrard, Operations Manager at Hebron Housing, added:
"This grant from The National Lottery will allow us to make a real difference to our tenants’ wellbeing. We want this garden to be a place where everyone feels welcome and supported, whether they want to study, reflect, or simply spend time outside."
The garden refurbishment is planned to be completed before the summer, creating a bright, welcoming space just in time for sunny days. We’ll be sharing progress photos on our social media channels, and can’t wait to show tenants and the community the final transformation. Follow along on our Instagram and pages to see the progress and watch the garden come to life!
Thanks to The National Lottery Community Fund and, of course, to all National Lottery players—this wonderful project wouldn’t be possible without you.
