This week was George’s final session with us 🎉

Zoe and George celebrated all the hard work he’s put into practising his tricky speech sounds with a certificate — which he proudly decorated with his own choice of stickers ⭐️

For his last session, he requested all the messy games… so naturally his uniform ended up covered in flour! Exactly the kind of joyful, child-led ending we love 😊

It’s been such a privilege to be part of your journey, George. Well done! 💛

Happy Mother’s Day to the wonderful mums we work with 💛

Today we want to celebrate the mums who show up every single day for their children — especially the ones walking the speech and language journey.

✨ The mums who sit on the floor and play the same game again and again.

⏳ The mums who pause, wait, listen and try to understand what their child is really communicating.

❤️ The mums who comfort big feelings and help their child feel safe in the world.

At MTW we talk a lot about connection, regulation and play, because these are the foundations that communication grows from.

And the truth is — mums are often doing this naturally every day.

-When you cuddle your child after a hard moment, you are helping them regulate.
-When you laugh together, copy their sounds, or follow their lead in play, you are building connection.
-When you sit alongside them exploring the world together, you are creating the perfect environment for communication to grow.

Those small moments might not always feel significant — but they matter more than you realise.

Progress in communication is rarely about one big moment. It grows through thousands of tiny moments of connection, safety and joyful play. 🌳

So today we want to say thank you. Thank you for trusting us to walk alongside you. Thank you for your patience, your love, and the incredible advocacy you show for your children. You are doing something truly powerful.
