Melt Method is a combination of movement and therapy rolled into one.

Christine guides you through movements and sequences on soft rollers and balls that will leave you feeling relaxed, more balanced and stable and with reduced symptons of chronic pain.

Christine has a background in movement- dance, Pilates, gymnastics- and therapy- massage, Bowen Technique- and after trying Melt, she was so impressed with the results (getting rid of her hip pain and improving her Pilates practice) she decided to train as an Instructor.

Melt is a fascial rehydration technique and is designed to be practiced in class and at home . It enhances any exercise practice but it’s also for anyone who wants to feel better in their body, to move more easily and have a better quality of life.

Amanda is a Reiki Master and Wellbeing Practitioner. Her background is in the NHS, where she trained and worked for 17 years as a Midwife.

During that time, she supported people in many holistic practices including Waterbirth, Hypnobirth, Homeopathy and Aromatherapy. This led her to recognising the energetic power of the body, mind and holistic therapy and to train as a Reiki Master Practitioner. She also has many years of training and experience in Mental Health and Wellbeing Support and Trauma Informed Care and now runs a private Reiki and Wellbeing Practice.

Christine brings over 30 years of movement experience to her classes. She has been a pilates teacher for 20 years and has been a dance teacher, a Bowen therapist and massage therapist. Christine now focuses on Pilates and Melt Method.

Christine brings all of that knowledge to the way she teaches. Her philosophy is that movement practice should be enjoyable, sustainable, varied, appropriate, challenging - but also not too serious, functional but also playful.

Her Pilates classes are a blend of classical pilates and many other influences . Just as Joseph Pilates was influenced by Alexander Technique, Feldenkrais, yoga, gymnastics, so current knowledge about movement and restorative and somatic techniques are woven through Christines classes. Equipment is often used in classes, from massage balls and rollers to balance discs and bands.
