Saturday 11 April | 2–4pm
A gentle, confidence-building deep dive into the basics: key postures, breathwork + meditation. Perfect if you’re brand new, returning after a break, or want a steadier foundation. (Includes 5 class credits to use afterwards!)

Norwich love letter incoming 💌

Long before Norwich was voted the best place to live (The Times.2026), I moved here from London in 2002 looking for a different pace of life.

Honestly… it wasn’t always what I expected, and it took me a few years to fully adjust, but it has turned out to be the best decision I ever made.

Norwich has changed so much since then. Back in the early 2000s there were only a handful of yoga teachers - and no dedicated yoga studios or centres. Now? We’re genuinely spoiled for choice, and I love that. It says so much about this city’s openness, curiosity, and appetite for wellbeing.

What I’ve always loved most is the vibe: laid back, quietly creative, and full of surprises. The independent businesses, the humour, the community spirit - it all speaks volumes about Norwich’s entrepreneurial heart.
Norwich, you’re the best. And I feel so lucky Yantra gets to be part of this city. 🤍

Meet the Teacher: Rowan ✨🌿

Rowan’s classes are exactly what she describes in three words: fun, supportive, nourishing - with a little bit of playful challenge woven in.

She discovered yoga over twelve years ago as a way to do something good for her body and mind, and what started as stress relief has grown into a joyful, life-changing practice. Rowan completed her 200hr RYH-accredited Vinyasa teacher training in 2024, and later trained in Mandala methodology with its creator, Dulce Aguilar.

Expect dynamic, creative Vinyasa and Mandala flows that build mobility, stability and strength, always with space to rest, breathe, and move at your own pace. Her approach is functional, body-aware and adaptable, focusing on how movement feels rather than how it looks.

Rowan is also a qualified holistic massage therapist (currently training in sports massage), which shines through in her smart, grounded cueing and the way she supports different bodies and energy levels in the room.

Celebrating our March … Kate 🌟

Yoga was completely new to Kate a year ago - it took one guest pass class, followed by our two-week trial, and she was hooked. Since then she’s fallen in love with the studio, the heat, the teachers, and that special Yantra feeling of lining up side by side… finding drishti, remembering to breathe, and showing up together.

Kate loves the intensity of the hot classes, but she’s also been surprised by the quiet strength of restorative practice too: “Our days are pushy enough… a slower, more restful pace is medicinal. Who knew hugging a bolster could be so powerful?”

A year on, she feels stronger, steadier, and more focused - in body and mind, and we love hearing how practice has supported her in ways she didn’t expect.

Alongside yoga, Kate works locally as a holistic massage therapist, offering slow, rhythmic, grounding sessions designed to help the body move from tension into rest, working intuitively with the physical body and nervous system.

Thank you, Kate, for bringing your warmth and your presence into the space - we’re so glad you found Yantra 🤍
