Celebrating our March … Kate 🌟
Yoga was completely new to Kate a year ago - it took one guest pass class, followed by our two-week trial, and she was hooked. Since then she’s fallen in love with the studio, the heat, the teachers, and that special Yantra feeling of lining up side by side… finding drishti, remembering to breathe, and showing up together.
Kate loves the intensity of the hot classes, but she’s also been surprised by the quiet strength of restorative practice too: “Our days are pushy enough… a slower, more restful pace is medicinal. Who knew hugging a bolster could be so powerful?”
A year on, she feels stronger, steadier, and more focused - in body and mind, and we love hearing how practice has supported her in ways she didn’t expect.
Alongside yoga, Kate works locally as a holistic massage therapist, offering slow, rhythmic, grounding sessions designed to help the body move from tension into rest, working intuitively with the physical body and nervous system.
