Cavell Court delivers round-the-clock residential and dementia care on a permanent and respite basis. This spacious, purpose-built home is all about enabling residents to continue to enjoy a fantastic quality of life. Every member of the team is dedicated to delivering person-centred care and ensuring residents enjoy each day to the full, whether that’s taking part in activities and outings or helping out with small tasks around the home, from gardening to folding laundry. Life at Cavell Court is all about comfort and luxury, which is why each bedroom is of a high standard, with an en-suite wet room. Residents can also enjoy excellent facilities, such as a contemporary café, cinema and hair salon, as well as lovely grounds.

Our two lovely ladies had their wishes come true this week with a special visit to the Cat Café 🐾☕

From the moment they arrived, their faces lit up with excitement. They enjoyed a lovely warm drink, some tasty treats, and plenty of cuddles from the resident cats, who certainly didn’t disappoint with their affection and playful personalities.

There were smiles all around as they spent time relaxing, chatting, and soaking up the calm and cosy atmosphere. The gentle companionship of the cats brought so much joy and comfort, making the experience even more special.

Outings like these are so important to us, as we continue to support meaningful experiences, promote wellbeing, and create moments that truly matter. It was a truly magical day filled with laughter, happiness, and lots of furry love 💖

🥞 Pancake Day Fun at Cavell Court! 🥞

Our wonderful residents at Cavell Court had a fantastic time celebrating Pancake Day! There was lots of laughter, plenty of flipping skills on display, and of course, some delicious creations too.

Everyone enjoyed making their own pancakes, choosing their favourite toppings, and showing off their flipping talents – we even had a few expert pancake tossers in the room! 👏✨

It was a lovely day filled with smiles, sweet treats, and great company. Moments like these make Cavell Court feel even more like home. ❤️

💕 Valentine’s Day at Cavell Court 💕

Our wonderful residents enjoyed a beautiful sit-down three-course meal with their loved ones to celebrate Valentine’s Day. ❤️

The room was filled with laughter, smiles, and special moments shared over delicious food and great company. It was heart-warming to see so many families come together to create treasured memories.

A huge thank you to our incredible staff for all their hard work in making the afternoon such a stress-free and enjoyable time for everyone. Your dedication and care made the day extra special. 🌹✨

Cupid has officially arrived at Cavell Court, and we’re kicking off the Valentine’s spirit in style! 💘✨

This week, our home is filled with laughter, love, and the sweet sounds of live music drifting through the halls. From toe-tapping classics to heartfelt favourites, our residents are singing along, clapping, and sharing smiles all around. 🎤🎹

There’s nothing quite like music to bring back special memories — and today, we’re making brand new ones together. 💞

Today we say a very fond farewell to our wonderful receptionist, AJ, as he leaves Cavell Court to progress his career in his trade.

AJ has been the heart of our reception area, greeting everyone who walked through our doors with his contagious smile and warm personality. Residents, relatives and staff alike have all been touched by his kindness, professionalism and genuine care. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he always went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome.

We are incredibly proud to have seen AJ recognised at the Suffolk Awards 2025, where he received the award for Best Receptionist – a truly well-deserved achievement that reflects just how special he is and how much he means to our community.

AJ, thank you for everything you have done for Cavell Court. You have made a lasting impact here, and you will be greatly missed by us all.

Wishing you every success and happiness in this exciting new chapter – once part of the Cavell Court family, always part of the Cavell Court family. 💙

🎶 Breaking news: Cavell Court became a disco today 🎶

Andy’s Mobile Disco rocked up and next thing we know there’s funny music blasting through the lounges, into residents’ rooms, and basically every corner of the home 🪩😂

Staff gathered, toes tapped, hips wiggled (yes, we saw you 👀), and our residents absolutely LOVED it. Smiles, laughs, and a lot of “I remember this one!” moments ❤️

Massive thank you to Andy and to all our amazing staff who jumped in, danced along, and made it even more fun – you’re all legends 👏🎶
