As it's the beginning of the week, I thought I would just drop this little beauty here as a gentle reminder and also a tool that you can use as and when 🥰

It's so easy to assume that everything that we feel, sense and are aware of has something to do with us, but the truth is... it isn't always the case.

When you suddenly feel out of sorts, or just not like yourself, or your mood changes, or you are in a busy space and become overwhelmed, agitated or any of the things.... ask yourself
'Whose energy is this?'

Asking this question immediately gives you the opportunity to pause, take charge and give yourself a sense of space for you and your body without automatically contracting and retreating inwards.
More importantly it stops you from unknowingly absorbing or solidifying any thoughts, feelings and emotions or energies into your mind and body - that really have absolutely nothing to do with you.

More often than not, when you ask this question - you will sense a shift and lightening up around you and that's a fab indication that it's stuff that's outside of you. Doing that and intending for the energy to be returned to it's original source, will really help you feel stay connected to you.

As with everything, there are reasons why we may be more susceptible to taking on external baggage which if we choose to delve into, will make life much easier.

The day I stopped calling it overthinking and started calling it data, everything shifted.

I began tracking what set me off, what I avoided, what I kept repeating, what I was really afraid of.

That kind of self study turns chaos into clarity. You cannot change what you keep romanticizing or excusing.

You change what you are willing to see, plainly, without stories.

Sharing this again for those of you who love connecting with your body!!
Our bodies have a natural ability to self heal and listening to what she has to tell you is the first step towards soothing symptoms, not just for the body but also for the mind 💚

What would your body love to share with you today?

Sometimes it’s just lovely to check in with your body!
This little exercise is something that I do most days and not only do I feel more connected to my body, but also more reconnected to myself as a whole, especially if I’ve been feeling a bit off.

Get comfy and take some really deep breaths until you feel relaxed. Breathe into all of the parts of your body from your head to your toes, noticing and being really present as you move and breathe around. If you notice any tension or feel any blocks, just reassure your body that you are safe and breathe even more deeply into that area if you can.

Then just ask your body ‘how are you feeling?’ and then let your body guide you. She may lead you to a certain area of your body and you can place your hand there. You may feel some emotions, let them rise and fall. There may be some words that come, which you can write down. You may have some memories pop up, some inspiration or intuition about something. Whatever it is just go with it and trust it….allow your body to share with you.

When you have finished thank your body and follow any closing routine that you may have to make sure that you feel grounded and present in your mind and body and your aura feels clear, strong and whole.

This is a lovely way to feel more connected with your body, to release any emotions you’ve been holding, receive any awarenesses, increase your intuition and sharpen your senses ❤️

PS.. it’s amazing what can start to shift and change when we are really present with our bodies, so creating a sacred space and having an opening and closing intention for yourself, is really important. If you’d like any help with that, please feel free to get in touch.

Hello my name is Anna. I have been an energy healing practitioner for nearly 25 years and have seen some wonderful healing and transformation take place with physical and emotional symptoms over that time.

Something Kind And Wonderful is a healing space to rediscover and express the magic of who you truly are and has been born from my own personal experiences and journey of rediscovering my true self, within my heart and where I belong.
