Proprius Therapies We are specialists in holistic, sports injuries, soft tissue and remedial massage therapies.

When we suffer injuries, poor general health, anxiety or the effects of ageing, these soft tissues can become compromised and, with that, structure and organs are affected, reinforcing tightness within muscle and thereby misalignment of the skeletal system. Fatigue, discomfort, pain and distress can result, as can disease and musculoskeletal degeneration. We combine a variety of techniques, from trigger pointing, stretching, mobilising and manipulating, amongst others. Sports, Remedial and Deep Tissue practices include:-

The clinic has finally re-opened today! We have been busy re-booking cancelled appointments and booking those who have been wanting sessions.

Update!
Unfortunately under the current Government restrictions we are unable to continue with our treatments for the time being. However, we are encouraging clients to still get in touch if you have any issues that we might be able to help you with remotely.
If and when things improve we look forward to welcoming you back.

Update!!!!
We are pleased to announce that we have been cleared to continue treatments through the 4 week lockdown. Apologies to those who's appointments we have had to cancel this week. We will be getting back in touch to re-book you in.
Those who have an appointment over the next 4 weeks, we will be getting in touch for some additional screening measures that have come in to affect.

We are pleased to announce that following the Government’s latest advice and the guidance of our Regulatory body, we will be opening our clinic for Soft Tissue Therapy treatments from Monday 20th July.
If you have had an appointment cancelled by us, or you have enquired about a treatment whilst we have been closed, we will be contacting you to book you an appointment.

Please see below for details of the procedures and protocols that need to be followed.

Proprius commitment:

Proprius Therapies have made the utmost effort to facilitate a safe return for its staff and clients.
As members of the ISRM (Institute for Soft Tissue Therapists) we have followed their framework to make sure we as a business are doing everything we can to safeguard those who enter the premises.
We have implemented measures to ensure we are compliant with the government coronavirus guidelines. These include new Health & Safety regulations and PPE is a compulsory addition for the therapist and client.

•Please note that there will be a minimum of 30 minutes between each client for a thorough clean down and sanitisation of the treatment area

•There will only be one therapist working on site at any time

•Please remain in your vehicle/outside the clinic until the Therapist welcomes you to your appointment

•Please bring your own water with you

•Please bring as few articles as possible with you and remove all jewellery prior to your treatment

•Hand sanitiser stations will be strategically located and clients are asked to use these upon entering and exiting the premises

•Clients are required to wear a face mask throughout their treatment

•Clients will be required to email or phone in to book new appointments

•Payment is to be made by BACS or card/contactless where possible

•Because of the extra time required for the cleaning and sanitisation of the treatment area, only hour long appointments on specific days and times will be available. This will be reviewed on a regular basis.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we introduce a phased return.

Whilst there is some easing of the coronavirus social distancing restrictions, those that are still in place mean that, sadly, we will remain closed until further notice.
All appointments have therefore been cancelled.

If you have had an appointment cancelled we will contact you when we are able to resume treatments. Unfortunately we do not yet know when this will be.

Should you be in a great deal of pain and require emergency advice, please telephone us on: 01508 488083 and leave a message.
A therapist will contact you to discuss and offer any advice they are able to over the phone.

We wiil then re-evaluate as to whether we are able to reopen.

This is not a decision we have taken lightly as we know that for many of our clients their treatments help them to stay healthy and pain-free.

The health and wellbeing of everyone, both staff and clients, at Glebe Barn Studios and Clinic continues is our top priority.
Following the advice of the Institute for Soft Tissue Therapists to discontinue all treatments, we have had to, sadly, make the decision to cancel all our soft tissue therapy treatments with immediate effect.

We are therefore cancelling all appointments from 19 March through to Monday 20 April and will then re-evaluate as to whether we are able to resume treatments or need to cancel those booked in beyond this date.

We will be in touch when we are able to resume treatments to rebook your appointment.

This is not a decision we have taken lightly as we know that for many of our clients their treatments help them to stay healthy and pain-free.
