The Yoga Tree logo shows a tree with 3 roots and 8 branches in a zen circle. The 3 roots represent the three gunas from Indian philosophy that represent our something similar to yin, yang, and a balanced third way. They three roots also make a shape that points towards the peace symbol ☮️. The 8 branches represent the eight limbs of yoga, yoga in behaviour, attitude, body, breath, senses, attention, awareness, and consciousness. The Zen circle like all circles defines inner and outer, zen means meditation.

I was also slightly pleased with myself with the little double entendre to Enquire Within 😁

Monday Yoga Classes at 10am, 12.15, 6pm, 7.30pm.
Meditation class at 6pm too.

This may look very boring on the surface.
But there are many things to be happy about here.
Firstly the new filter tap made by local carbon negative company cold stream (so now our water got even better)
Secondly the tea caddies on the shelf contain (probably (for legal reasons)) the best tea you can buy in Norfolk (imported from china and taiwan, hand picked, artisan) they've been part of Chinese medicine since before China existed.
Thirdly the teaware that makes this tea a little easy going taoist inspired ceremony that elevates the whole experience.
Even the kettle is special.

The Yoga Tree is now serving some of the best tea in the world. We have White Peony tea from Fijian, Big Buddha Dragon Well green tea from Zhejiang, Gaba Oolong from Taiwan, and Li Da Gushu Sheng from Yunnan. If you haven't tried gong fu tea or have been looking for somewhere to get it you are welcome.

Yesterday's Solstice took me to see an old friend in the British Museum. He helped remove some obstacles in communication. So on this first day of the solar year it's a good moment to say Thankyou to each and every person who has come to The Yoga Tree: whether for a class, a workshop, a treatment or therapy, for a dance, for food, drink, and good company, to teach, learn to teach, to offer help, or play music. This year and indeed the past 9 years have seen The Yoga Tree grow into something really beautiful and valuable in many lives and in our community. I look forward to seeing what the new year brings, and wish you all health, happiness, success, and freedom. Om Peace.
