Join our lovely team at F J Gibb in Southport as a full-time Funeral Service Specialist.
Are you warm, empathetic, and confident? Do you want to make a real difference for families at one of life’s most significant moments? We’re looking for someone who can guide people through funeral arrangements with care, attention to detail, and professionalism.
What you’ll do:
• Be the first point of contact for families, in person, by phone, or email ☎️
• Arrange funerals with compassion and precision
• Introduce and explain our wider services, including probate, wills, memorials, and funeral plans
• Handle legal paperwork and identification accurately 📝
• Support the running of the branch and work closely with our local team
• Build relationships with care homes, hospices, GPs, and local groups 🤝
What we’re looking for:
• Excellent communication and people skills
• IT and admin skills 💻
• Accuracy and confidence with paperwork
• Commitment to our shared values: kindness, integrity, and always making things better
Salary: £25,651 per year, plus commission and ancillary payments.
Hours: 38.33 per week, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm.
