Last week, our Community Fundraiser Jo, attended a special presentation at Chorley Masonic Hall, where she was warmly welcomed by John Bicknell, Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler of West Lancashire and Treasurer of St George’s Red Cross Conclave No. 42.

During the visit, Jo was honoured to receive a donation of £200 from St George’s Red Cross Conclave No. 42, with a further £400 kindly donated by the Provincial of West Lancashire – bringing the total to an incredible £6️⃣0️⃣0️⃣🙌

We’d like to say a huge thank you for choosing to support Rainbow Hub. Your generosity and community spirit mean so much to us. These funds will make a real difference, helping us continue to provide vital services and support for the children and families who use Rainbow Hub.

We are delighted to share a huge thank you and congratulations to Rachel, a Rainbow Hub Mummy whose son Oscar attends Rainbow Hub, who took on the TCS London Marathon this weekend as our sole place - and did us so proud ❤️🌈🏃‍♀️

Rachel crossed the finish line after an amazing journey of dedication, discipline, and determination, following the official 24-week marathon training plan to the letter in preparation for race day. Her commitment over many months has been truly inspiring, and it has been a privilege to support her along the way 🙌

Not only did Rachel complete one of the world’s most iconic marathons, but she also raised an outstanding £1️⃣8️⃣,5️⃣5️⃣8️⃣.5️⃣0️⃣in support of Rainbow Hub. This total was achieved through generous donations, a dance show hosted through her business ALIVE Dance School, and a Christmas awards event run via her family business Alive Fitness. The total also includes Gift Aid and an element of match funding through Big Give - making the final amount even more impactful for the children and families we support 💫

Reflecting on the day, Rachel said: “It’s an unbelievable experience - I will never forget it. It’s just incredible how generous people are, and because most of them know and love Oscar so much, they want to help in any way they can, which is so lovely. I’m completely blown away by it all.”🥰

From all of us at Rainbow Hub - thank you so much, Rachel. You have gone above and beyond, and we are so grateful for your commitment, your energy, and the love that you’ve put into this challenge. You have achieved something truly special for our families ❤️🌈
