Rainbow Hub is a charity whose diverse services are brightening the lives of disabled children.
Rainbow Hub promotes independence and achievement for both children and young people, through the philosophy and practice of Conductive Education. This is a holistic educational system using repetitive physical activities incorporating rhythm, song and phrases to help young people with neurological conditions and brain injury carry out simple movements. Conditions include cerebral palsy, Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy (HIE), Williams Syndrome, Moebius Syndrome, Downs Syndrome during the early years and acquired brain injury. It can also benefit individuals who do not have a diagnosis and those with global developmental delay, genetic conditions and other physical disabilities.

Today at we’ve been celebrating !
Here are some of our school children, dressed as characters from their favourite books, bringing colour, creativity and lots of smiles to the day 🌈 📖 ❤️
Stories hold a special kind of magic. They open the door to imagination, introduce new ideas and allow children to explore wonderful worlds beyond the pages of a book. For many children, a favourite story can become a place of comfort, adventure and discovery 🥰✨
We hope you enjoy these lovely photos of our children bringing their favourite stories to life and celebrating the joy that books can bring.

At Rainbow Hub, we support children and families living with a wide range of rare conditions and disabilities - many of which are complex, lifelong and little understood.
More than 3.5 million people in the UK are affected by rare diseases. For many families, daily life involves navigating uncertainty, delayed diagnoses, limited specialist services and barriers to education, healthcare and community life.
This year’s theme for is “Equity for Rare” - this is a reminder that fairness isn’t about treating everyone the same, it’s about recognising individual needs and making sure no child is disadvantaged because their condition is rare 💙💜🧡
Every child deserves the chance to participate, belong and thrive 🌈🌈🌈

Families are right at the heart of Rainbow Hub. Based in Mawdesley, Lancashire, we’re a charity providing therapeutic services for children and young people with physical disabilities as a result of a neurological condition or brain injury.
We are now supporting over 100 families per week, helping children to reach their full potential and gain more independence through fun, hands-on activities, while giving their parents the vital support they deserve.
No other organisation offers such a diverse range of services aimed at improving the physical, social and emotional well-being of children with complex needs, as well as reducing the stress and isolation in their families.
In a complete contrast to NHS services, our purpose-built site offers a picturesque country escape with a unique family first approach. It’s safe, friendly, free of charge to families and accessible to all. Backed by a robust fundraising strategy, strong board of trustees and clear vision to brighten the lives of disabled children.
