Whitefield Primary School, Liverpool asked us for some help with the design of classroom furniture.

We designed & manufactured the desking with storage & supplied Postura high back stools to match in the correct sizemark.

Over the last few years we have been redesigning our environment to support inclusion. We looked at our classrooms with fresh eyes and have put in flexible seating and different types of tables and chairs. These rooms have reduced distraction and support children to feel safe and comfortable, ready to learn. Foundation Furniture created these high desks for us - children can sit or can stand to work. They are settled, calm and able to learn.

Foundation Furniture Ltd Completes Bespoke Storage Wall Installation at Bryn St Peter’s Primary School, Wigan

PHASE ONE

Foundation Furniture Ltd is proud to announce the successful design, manufacture, and installation of a fully bespoke storage wall system at Bryn St Peter’s Primary School in Wigan. The transformation—captured in the before and after images—delivers a modern, space-saving solution tailored to the school’s practical needs and teaching environment.

The new installation incorporates:
• Integrated teacher’s desk
• Tray and open storage compartments
• White-gloss cupboard doors suitable for dry-wipe markers, allowing teachers to use the surface as an extension of their classroom tools
• Storage spaces sized specifically to accommodate 35-litre Really Useful Boxes, ensuring robust capacity and easy organisation

This custom system has been carefully engineered to maximise available space while maintaining a clean, modern aesthetic. The white-gloss finish brightens the room and provides a versatile teaching aid, while the combination of lockers, trays, and open shelving ensures everything has its place.

🚀 New Installation at St Paul's Catholic Junior School! 🚀

We're thrilled to share our recent project at St Paul's Catholic Junior School in West Derby, Liverpool, where we designed, manufactured, and installed eight 2-door storage cabinets. These units have transformed a corridor into an amazing storage space, perfect for housing laptops, iPads, or any important resources!

What did the installation involve?
💠 Fitting the units to the wall and each other for maximum stability.
💠 Skilfully fitting around plug sockets and concealing pipework.
💠 Keeping the cabinets level despite the uneven flooring.

Check out our latest installation at Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School in Hastings. 📚✨ They ordered a series of beautiful reading scheme bookcases in a beech finish, perfectly fitted together & against the wall. Also, they are concealing pipes along the bottom. You can't even tell the pipes are there anymore!

These units feature Clear Perspex retaining rails to showcase book covers while keeping them neatly in place. Plus, the school has creatively used the top of the units for additional display and storage!
