At Burscough Neuro Physio, we’re a specialist neuro physiotherapy practice, helping people better manage long-term neurological conditions. That often means rebuilding confidence, improving mobility, and supporting people to stay as independent as possible.

A few weeks ago we shared some lovely photos of our patient Jean, who was visiting Durham Cathedral to attend the Royal Maundy service, having been nominated to receive the Maundy Money for outstanding Christian services in her community. We sat down with Jean shortly afterwards to chat about the day and all of the incredible things she’s achieved despite her MS diagnosis. We all had a great evening on Tuesday with one of our evening training workshops — topping up our knowledge around all things upper limb recovery to help us better support our patients.

It was a great chance for the team to come together, catch up, and (of course) enjoy some pizza!

Huge thanks to Tim Walton once again for sharing his time and expertise in leading the session. And a big thank you to our patient Ben for being such a willing and helpful volunteer.

We always come away from these sessions with lots of exciting ideas to bring to our patients. Well done team!
