It works by bringing the body back in to balance. Reiki/Reki Drum Master Teacher 20 yrs experience. Reiki is a Japanese healing technique of stress reduction, deep relaxation that also promotes healing. It is a fully clothed light touch method that works with the body’s energy systems including the aura, the chakras, and the meridians. Reiki strengthens the body’s energy systems by unblocking stuck or stagnant energy which will increase the natural flow of energy throughout the body, bringing it into balance. Reiki is “spiritually guided Ki or life force energy”. “Rei” means universal higher power, spiritual guidance, pure love. Reiki works by accessing the highest vibration in the Universe; the energy of love.�

I always spend time before the session explaining what it is, how it works and how the treatment will proceed. It is imperative that you feel safe and well informed. We will discuss your needs, intentions and expectations. While Reiki can be used for anyone regardless of age or medical diagnosis, it is important to emphasize that Reiki is not a replacement for traditional medical care. The beauty of Reiki is in its simplicity – just allow the energy to flow. Our bodies have the fantastic ability to bring about balance and the body knows exactly where to accept the energy as it is needed. Your first Reiki session can bring about personal change, inner balance, clarity and a spark in your intuitive guidance. Although many people are content with receiving routine Reiki sessions, many are so impressed with the results that they want to learn the practice for themselves. Bring attuned to Reiki gives you the ability to begin a daily self-Reiki practice. This may open the door to a journey of deep personal healing and self-discovery that is often life changing.
