Acupuncture a practice rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine that works with the body’s natural ability to heal itself. Rather than focus on the symptoms, acupuncture works on strengthening the body’s internal systems so healing can occur more effectively and sustainably.
When the body is under stress, dealing with illness, or recovering from injury, its natural flow of energy and communication between systems can become disrupted. Through diagnosis which includes listening to the pulse, looking at the tongue, asking specific questions and looking at the emotions I can choose specific points on the body which gently help regulate these systems and encourage the body to return to a balanced state.
