In August 2017, research from The General Pharmaceutical Council register stated that of 55,209 registered pharmacists in the UK, 61% identified as female, and 39% as male.

💧 drink plenty of cold drinks, especially when exercising
🚿 take cool baths or showers
👕 wear light-coloured, loose clothing
💦 sprinkle water over skin or clothes
☀️ avoid the sun between 11am and 3pm
🍸 avoid excess alcohol
🏃‍♂️ avoid extreme exercise

What to do if someone has heat exhaustion:

✔️ Get them to a cool place
✔️ Have them lie down & raise their feet slightly
✔️ Have them drink plenty of water
✔️ Cool their skin (spray or sponge them with cool water, fan them, or use cold packs)

They should cool down and feel better within 30 minutes. ❄️

❗ a headache
❗ dizziness and confusion
❗ loss of appetite and feeling sick
❗ excessive sweating and pale, clammy skin
❗ cramps in the arms, legs and stomach
❗ fast breathing or pulse
❗ a high temperature of 38C or above
❗ being very thirsty
