What is Bowen?

The Bowen Technique is a light touch complementary therapy.

The therapist uses their hands in specific areas of the body to create a gentle disturbance of muscle and connective tissue.

In between each set of moves, the therapist leaves the room to allow an 'internal conversation' to take place between the body's nervous systems. This unusual but important feature of the technique is vital for the effectiveness of the technique.

✅ The Bowen Technique can be used for all kinds of ailments from stress and headaches to chronic, long-term pain and is suitable for all ages.
