⭐️ A wonderful Easter egg hunt for our residents was had yesterday! Hiding in plant pots, with animals, in vases. You name it, they were everywhere! 🐣

It was such a fun and joyous afternoon for everyone 🥰

⭐️ We had our lovely Easter Church Service the other day with St Michael and All Angels Church, Hoole

It was thoroughly enjoyed by all and a great way to kick off Easter! 🐣

This weekend we have enjoyed the sunshine that is starting to show its face ☀️☀️☀️☀️

We have also ended our nutrition and hydration week by making some lovely blueberry muffins with our chef Rad! 🧁🧁

🌿🥤 We’re Celebrating Nutrition & Hydration Week at Ribble Court Care Home! 🥗💧

This week at Ribble Court, we’re proudly taking part in Nutrition & Hydration Week (16th–22nd March) — a national campaign highlighting the importance of good nutrition and staying hydrated for health and wellbeing 💙

Our residents and team are enjoying a range of activities throughout the week, from delicious, nutritious meals and tasty treats to refreshing drinks and social tea moments ☕🍓 It’s been wonderful to see everyone coming together and making mealtimes even more enjoyable!

At Ribble Court, we know how important nutrition and hydration are in supporting health, wellbeing and quality of life — and it’s something we focus on every single day 💚

A big thank you to our amazing staff and lovely residents for making this week so special!

⭐️ What a wonderful Mothers Day we had at Ribble Court. Our lovely Kitchen team had prepared a marvellous afternoon tea style lunch for us to all enjoy in the company of one another 🥰🥰🥰

🎊 Calling all local stallholders 🎊

Our annual Summer Fete is taking place on 11th July, and we’re excited to open our doors once again to the local community. We’d love to welcome stallholders from the area to join us and help make the day truly special for our residents, families, and visitors.

We’re particularly interested in stalls that bring colour, creativity, and a sense of fun to the event. A few examples of what we’d love to include:

Handmade crafts – knitted items, woodwork, pottery, cards, home décor, personalised gifts

Art and design – prints, illustrations, jewellery, textiles, floral arrangements

Wellbeing and pampering – soaps, candles, lotions, aromatherapy items

Seasonal gifts – summer accessories, plants, garden items, small gifts perfect for residents and families

Charity or community stalls – local groups wishing to share what they do

If you offer something a little different, we’d love to hear from you too. The aim is to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere with plenty for people to browse and enjoy.

Happy International Women’s Day from everyone here at Ribble Court! ❤️

We started our day off by giving advice to the younger women in society and then celebrated in the afternoon with a coffee and a cake 🍰 ☕️

Such a lovely few days we have had 🥰

⭐️ we’ve done some reminiscing about the royal family- including the abdication and then coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.
⭐️ we’ve played one of our favourite games which is dominoes
⭐️and finished it off with some karaoke and dancing to keep us active!
