It is with sadness that for the time being I am no longer able to offer walk and talk therapy. For anyone needing support in these difficult times I am offering online counselling sessions via Skype or Zoom at a reduced cost. I am also offering check in telephone calls to anyone who is self isolating and on their own free of charge. I have limited appointments, if you are interested or know anyone who may benefit from some extra support, please PM me.

Have you heard of shinrin-yoku? Forest bathing or shinrin-yoku was developed in Japan in the 1980's. The government did a scientific study that showed that a stroll in a forest could lower cortisol (stress hormone), reduce blood pressure and improve concentration and memory. There is no water or actual bathing involved it's just taking a mindful walk in the woods. What a great way to de-stress...and it's free!

Thank you to everyone who has liked and shared my page. In October last year I started my own private practice offering walk and talk therapy in Preston and surrounding areas. I feel passionate about offering walk and talk therapy with its many added benefits, as an alternative to sitting face to face in an office setting. For more details please feel free to message me or check out my website www.openpathways.co.uk
