We've partnered with the Richmond Fellowship to bring parents and carers of autistic individuals over the age of 16 a peer support group. Starting Tuesday 5th December, the group will meet every two weeks to share experiences and make new connections. Whether you are already studying at university, or considering attending university in the 2024 academic year, we talk you through applying for Disabled Students Allowance if you have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition. With the UCAS deadline (31.1.2024) fast approaching for the 2024 academic year, many people will be thinking about university at the moment. Did you know if you have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition you can apply for Disabled Student Allowance (DSA) through Student Finance when you apply?

DSA is a grant (meaning you do not need to repay it) and if your application is successful, you can gain access to a support package to help you overcome barriers to learning. Find out more on our website: www.themoreyouknow.org.uk/students

Children too can struggle with their mental health and mental health days can be just as beneficial for children as they are for adults. As a society, we reward 100% attendance at school, but at what cost? Is it time to change the narrative?
