What are spider (thread) veins?
These are small, visible blood vessels that appear close to the surface of the skin. They often look like:
Thin red, blue, or purple lines
Web-like or branching patterns
They’re most commonly found on the legs
Causes include:
Genetics
Hormonal changes (pregnancy, menopause)
Prolonged standing or sitting
Aging

The standard treatment is called sclerotherapy
How it works:
We inject a special solution into the vein, this irritates the vein lining, causing it to collapse and seal shut
Over time, the body absorbs the treated vein, and it fades from view
Results:
Veins gradually disappear over weeks to months
Multiple sessions may be needed.

Glow starts from within

Did you know just 2 tablespoons a day in your hot drink of collagen glow-up can support your skin alongside professional treatments?

Facials that stimulate collagen work on the outside—boosting renewal, firmness, and skin texture. But pairing them with daily collagen support helps nourish your skin from within, creating that next-level glow.

Think of it as a team effort:
Inside = consistent collagen support Outside = targeted facial treatments

Consistency is key. Supporting your body daily with amino acids + skin-loving nutrients can complement what your skincare is doing topically.

Glowing skin isn’t just about what you apply… it’s about what you fuel your body with too.

Concerned about your teen’s acne?

Adolescent acne is very common, but persistent breakouts can affect a young person’s confidence and skin health if left unmanaged.Hormonal changes, lifestyle factors, and unsuitable skincare products can all contribute to ongoing acne.

An esthetician can help by assessing your child’s skin, providing safe and appropriate treatments, and recommending a simple homecare routine tailored to teenage skin. Early support can help calm inflammation, reduce breakouts, and minimise the risk of long-term scarring.

If your child is struggling with acne, guidance can make a meaningful difference in managing their skin safely and effectively.

Glow from the inside out

A facial isn’t just a treat — it’s a reset for your skin. Regular facials help deeply cleanse pores, remove buildup, boost circulation, and keep your skin hydrated and balanced. The result? A brighter, smoother, healthier-looking complexion that feels as good as it looks.

Take time for your skin. It deserves it.

March is Endometriosis Awareness Month 💛
Endometriosis affects around 1 in 10 women worldwide, often causing chronic pain, inflammation, bloating, and fatigue. Raising awareness helps improve understanding, support, and access to care for those living with this condition.
At our medispa, we recognise that supportive therapies can play a role in overall wellbeing. Lymphatic Drainage Massage is a gentle treatment that can help encourage lymph flow, reduce fluid retention, and support the body’s natural detoxification processes — which may help ease bloating and inflammation commonly experienced with endometriosis.
While it’s not a treatment or cure, many people find it a helpful addition to their wider care routine.
This month we stand with everyone living with endometriosis — advocating for awareness, compassion, and better support. 💛
