Friday night’s Community Pharmacy Lancashire & South Cumbria awards were a truly fantastic celebration of community pharmacy across Lancashire and South Cumbria.
Firstly, a huge thank you to Mubasher and the CPLSC team for delivering such an outstanding evening. The level of thought, care and professionalism that went into the event was evident throughout, and it genuinely felt like a celebration worthy of the people and the profession it represents. Bringing together so many individuals from across the sector in such a meaningful way is no small achievement, and it was executed brilliantly.
It was also a genuine privilege to be in a room filled with so many talented, passionate professionals. The calibre of nominees was exceptional, and it was incredibly inspiring to see the breadth and quality of work happening across community pharmacy.
On a personal note, I couldn’t be prouder of our team at Broadway Pharmacy with Cure Clinics. To have been named Community Pharmacy of the Year and to see Teresa recognised with the Outstanding Contribution Award is a huge achievement, and a true reflection of the consistency, commitment and care they all bring every single day.
Awards are always just a moment in time, but what they represent is the hard work behind the scenes, the standards we hold ourselves to, and the impact we strive to make in our community.
A brilliant evening, and one I feel very proud to have been part of.
