🫣New Year intention to start Yoga? 🫣 Hate to break it to you, but it’s mid-February already! Reasons people don’t join a yoga studio….and why they’re terrible reasons 👇
⛔️ ADHD / Neurodivergent - Fantastic, Ashtanga Yoga and Mindful Flow were made for you! These yoga practices give your brain loads to work on, they’re designed to help calm a super busy mind. You’ll find a huge % of Ashtangis are neurodivergent, because it really helps us to calm and focus our beautifully curious minds.
⛔️ Not Flexible - Great, a Yoga Studio is absolutely the place to get flexible. You don’t need any flexibility to join a yoga class, but you will definitely become more flexible.
⛔️ No Balance - Awesome, a Yoga Studio is the perfect place to improve your balance. We improve your balance by teaching techniques and building strength.
⛔️ Not Strong - Fabulous, you guessed it…a Yoga Studio is a great place to build all-body strength. Each yoga posture works on core, arms, legs and shoulders.
When I came to yoga I was very weak, with no balance (in body, mind or life), a busy mind and burnout. Yoga gave me strength, balance, flexibility, focus, presence and peace and I love to share that with everyone….so, whatever is holding you back, let that go and join us ❤️
Here there are no expectations or judgement, just kindness, a joy that you’ve turned up and an intention to support you on your journey so you leave feeling better than you arrived each day and that each day feels more easeful than the last xx
