Job Vacancy: Shift Electrician - Chorley Hospital

We need a dedicated Electrician based at Chorley and South Ribble Hospital to join our team to help keep our hospital environment safe, operational and supporting the health and wellbeing of our patients, staff, and visitors – day in, day out. No mean feat! We really mean it when we say no two days are the same – it’s a blend of planned maintenance coupled with emergency repairs and everything in between.

You will also work across some of our other hospitals sites too, so whilst primarily based at Chorley District General Hospital you will get out there to other sites at Royal Preston Hospital, Preston Business Centre and beyond.
This role will involve a 6-week rotating shifts, that will involve Days, Evenings, Nights, and Weekends.

A beautiful, impeccable Remembrance service earlier at Royal Preston Hospital.

Very well attended with representation from across the Trust.

Well done Rachael! Great effort. What an inspiration.

Thank you SO much to Rachael Carroll, who last weekend took on an incredible 10-mile trail run at Helvellyn, and absolutely smashed it in 2 hours, 21 minutes! 🏃‍♀️💪🧡

Inspired by our recent post about raising funds for new gym equipment for staff on our Critical Care Unit (CRCU), Rachael decided she wanted to help too - and has raised an amazing £707.50 for the ward!

Reminder - There is a short service in the Chapel at Royal Preston today, 10:45am all welcome.

🌺 On Armistice Day, we honour the courage and sacrifice of all who served and continue to serve, and we reflect on the cost of peace.

At 10-45am there will be a service in the chapel at Royal Preston Hospital, and at 11am, we will join the nation in a two-minute silence to pay tribute to those who gave their tomorrow for our today.

As a Trust and proud Gold Award holder under the , LTHTR stands with the Armed Forces community, past and present.
