We’ve had a wonderful time at Bethany House recently, enjoying a range of activities together.

Our family members showed great creativity and care during our flower arranging session, producing some beautiful displays that have brightened up our home. 🌷 It was lovely to see everyone sharing ideas and reminiscing about their favourite flowers and gardens.

There was also plenty of friendly competition during dominoes, with lots of concentration, teamwork and laughter around the table! 🎲

To top it all off, our sing-along session filled the room with music and smiles. 🎶 From classic favourites to well-loved tunes, it was a joy to see everyone joining in and enjoying the moment together.

Activities like these are so important in bringing people together, encouraging connection, and creating happy memories here at Bethany House. 💛

💖 A Week Full of Sweet Moments & Valentine’s Cheer! 💖

It’s been a lovely few days here at Bethany House! The other day we had great fun making delicious rice crispy treats with Amber 🍫✨ followed by a game of dominoes😊

Yesterday morning, we enjoyed our French lessons with Eric followed by a wonderful musical treat as
he played the piano for us in the afternoon🎹🇫🇷

Today, we’ve been celebrating Valentine’s Day with our friends and family. We started the day with fresh croissants, enjoyed a Valentine-themed lunch, and we’re looking forward to a buffet this evening! ❤️🥐

One of our family members was gifted an afternoon tea and kindly decided to share it with the other ladies this afternoon ☕️

Cups of tea, delicious scones, Christmas gingerbread, and plenty of lovely chat.

🎄✨ What a Wonderful Festive time at Bethany House! ✨🎄

We have worked incredibly hard preparing for our Christmas Fayre, and the turnout was absolutely fantastic! A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported us – it truly meant so much 🎁❤️

We would also like to say a big thank you to all the school and church choirs who had visited us the past few weeks. Your beautiful carol singing brought so much Christmas spirit and plenty of smiles to everyone 🎶🎄

We got creative making chocolate reindeers – they were very messy, but definitely yummy! 🍫🦌

To finish the week, we had an amazing time at our Christmas party, complete with party games, Christmas quizzes, and a very special visit from Santa himself! 🎅🎉

We are all feeling festive and super excited for Christmas next week! 🎄✨

We had a lovely visit today from the children at Tudor House Day Nursery.
They sang beautiful Christmas carols, brought lots of smiles, and filled the place with Christmas spirit and cheer. 🎄✨

🎄 Carol concert 🎄

This morning, preschool visited a local care home and performed their Christmas concert for the residents.
The children all did amazing and sang beautifully.
A massive thankyou to Bethany care home for having us.

A lovely trip out to Barton Grange Garden Centre ✨
The Christmas trimmings and displays were absolutely beautiful — everyone really enjoyed taking in the festive atmosphere 🎄❤️
We finished the outing with a warm drink and some cake, which went down perfectly!
We’re all definitely getting into the Christmas spirit now ❄️☕🍰

We’re excited to welcome everyone to this year’s Christmas Fayre — a fun, festive day for the whole family!

Here’s what you can look forward to:

🛍️ Various stalls full of gifts, crafts, and festive goodies

✨ A Wonderful Trip to the Blackpool Illuminations! ✨
We enjoyed a lovely evening out in Blackpool the other night. We had fish and chips — which is a must! The Illuminations were as amazing as ever, with so many colourful displays to enjoy!

We also spotted Blackpool Tower shining brightly in the night sky. 🌟
A fantastic outing filled with smiles, memories and lots of lights!

✨ What a wonderful few days at Bethany House! ✨

We started the week with a very special visit from Reanna, who arrived with delicious homemade cakes. They were absolutely fantastic and brought so many smiles — we’re truly grateful for her kindness and for taking the time to brighten everyone’s day. 💛🧁

Next, we brought the magic of the Blackpool Illuminations right here to Bethany House, along with our very own Christmas grotto — complete with a surprise visit from Santa himself! 🎅✨
It was a beautiful day full of joy, smiles, and even a few tears of happiness as we all felt the Christmas spirit come to life.

Today, we wrapped up with a fun teamwork activity that had us all working together to draw a picture… and let’s just say it brought plenty of laughter! 😄
We also spent time reflecting on what it means to live a full and fulfilled life. Together, we agreed that these shared moments — the activities, the fun, the connection — are a huge part of what makes life meaningful.

Feeling grateful, joyful, and excited for everything still to come. ❤️✨

A massive well done to her for passing her Lead Adult Care Worker Level 3 exam! She completed it in record time and put in an incredible amount of hard work, commitment, time, and effort.
