❤️ Remembrance Sunday at Millbanke ❤️

On Remembrance Sunday, our residents gathered in the Day Center to honour and remember all those who have served. 🇬🇧

We shared hymns and prayers, beautifully led by our very own Reverend Ian Sumner. It was a heartfelt service that gave everyone a chance to pause, reflect, and give thanks. 🌹

We will remember them.

💙 Promoting Independence in Care Homes 💙

Just because someone moves into a care home, it doesn’t mean they should lose their independence. Every resident still has their own routines, preferences, and ways of doing things that matter.

Whether it’s choosing their own meals, deciding what time they get up, or simply being supported to do the things they can do for themselves — independence is so important for dignity, confidence, and overall wellbeing.

A care home isn’t about taking away independence, it’s about offering the right support so people can live their lives as fully as possible. 🌟

Some of our residents had a lovely day out at Dobbies today 🌸☕🍰
They enjoyed a nice cup of tea and a slice of cake while out, and even brought us back some beautiful flowers to pot in the gardens. A wonderful day all round! 🌼💛
