Happy Easter everyone 🐣💛

Over the past few days, we’ve had the absolute joy of delivering handmade Easter cards created by local school children to our clients.

What started as a simple idea has turned into something truly special, working in partnership with our local communities to bring generations together, spark meaningful connections, and most importantly, create so many smiles.

What some of our clients said:

McDonald’s Lunch🍔🥤

Care Coordinator Tanya treated our service user Rob and Community Carer Caitlin to a McDonald’s lunch today.
Rob thoroughly enjoyed his McDonalds and appreciated the opportunity to spend time together sharing conversation, laughter, and good company while having lunch.
It was a positive social experience that contributed to the service user’s wellbeing and mood

On Monday we celebrated Elf Day in support of dementia awareness 🧝‍♀️🎄

It was all about spreading smiles, Christmas cheer and creating meaningful moments. From singing carols to sharing laughs, our service users joined in and had a wonderful time.
It’s moments like these that remind us how powerful connection, joy and a little bit of festive magic can be ✨💚

💙 Save Milbanke Care Home & Day Centre 💙

At Advanced Homecare, we’re proud to work in partnership with Milbanke Day Centre, where many of our lovely clients enjoy their day care services each week. The staff at Milbanke do an incredible job supporting local people — it’s a lifeline for so many in our community.

We’re showing our full support for the petition launched by Kirkham Town Council, calling on Lancashire County Council to keep Milbanke Care Home and Day Centre open. The centre has recently been put at risk, leaving residents, families, and staff deeply worried about the future.

Milbanke has been at the heart of Kirkham for generations, providing care, companionship, and comfort to local people — it must stay open. 🏠
