🐣 Easter Fundraising Success at Fulwood Hall Hospital 🐣

Fulwood Hall Hospital is proud to announce that we have raised an amazing £450.00 this week through our Easter Bingo and Easter Raffle!

We are delighted to confirm that all funds raised will be donated to our chosen charity, Rosemere Cancer Foundation, supporting the fantastic work they do within our local community. 💛

A special thank you to the two paramedics who were on site and kindly helped us pick our winners — your support was very much appreciated.

Thank you to all our staff and patients who took part and helped raise funds for such a worthy cause. Your generosity and community spirit truly make a difference.

🐣 Easter Bingo Fun at Fulwood Hall Hospital! 🐣

After work yesterday, we were delighted to host an Easter Bingo evening for our staff and their families at Fulwood Hall Hospital – and what a night it was! 🎉

We had a full room, a brilliant atmosphere, and plenty of smiles all round. Everyone enjoyed hotdogs, chips and a glass of nosecco while settling in for a fun-filled evening of bingo. 🌭🍟🥂

It was fantastic to see colleagues and families coming together outside of work, making it a really special event. A huge thank you to Ashley for doing a brilliant job as our bingo caller and helping make the evening such a success! 👏

Thank you to everyone who came along – nights like this really show the wonderful community spirit we have here. 💛

We’re proud to spotlight Dr David McDowell, a highly experienced Pain Management Consultant who is an established member of our clinical team here at Fulwood Hall Hospital.

Dr McDowell brings extensive expertise in diagnosing and treating complex pain conditions. His background includes specialist consultant roles across the NHS and independent healthcare sector.

🌟 Feedback Friday – A Story of True Professionalism 🌟

This week, we’re turning Feedback Friday around to shine a spotlight on one of our incredible Operating Department Practitioners, Amber George, from our Fulwood Hall Theatre team.

While travelling home to London after enjoying her honeymoon in Barbados, Amber found herself in an unexpected situation when a fellow passenger became critically unwell mid‑flight. Without hesitation, Amber stepped forward to support the cabin crew and played a key role in helping save a life onboard. ✈️💙

Her calmness, skill and compassion in such a high‑pressure moment embody everything we value in our teams here at Fulwood Hall Hospital. We are extremely proud of Amber and the professionalism she demonstrates both inside and outside our theatres.

Amber has since received a formal thank‑you letter from British Airways in recognition of her actions — a truly well‑deserved acknowledgment.
