SureCare Preston & South Ribble, Fylde & Wyre Providing home care services to people in the South Ribble area since 2004. SureCare have been providing a service to people in this area for over 15 years.

SureCare (Preston & South Ribble) is a provider of Domiciliary Care Services that covers the South Ribble Area. We are a framework provider for Lancashire County council and are registered with the Care Quality Commission. SureCare’s Registered Manager Carmen Ormesher has worked in community care for many years as a care worker, senior care worker and coordinator . The experience Carmen gained from working in these different positions encouraged her to maintain a service for people in the local area that promotes the need for consistent time keeping and encourages continuity of care. All care and support we provide is personalised to you. You are important to us and we aim to ensure that your rights as a person are observed each time we visit you.

Reasons

Doing a great job looking after all staff with regards to Christmas and New year rotas. I think we would all agree she did a great job with this challenging and time-consuming task which starts early November. I believe all staff got what they asked for.

Being involved organizing a great Christmas function for those staff that could attend. I think you would agree it was a very good function
Being involved with Christmas gifts for staff that could not attend the Christmas function. The staff that collected these gifts were very impressed.

Helen has had a very busy three months build up to Christmas as you are all aware
Dealing with all the above knowing that that Carmen was leaving at the end of December after 12 years working together
*I hope you all agree with me in awarding this award to Helen for her hard work looking after staff and service users alike over the last three challenging months
