➡️ If you’re hypermobile, chances are you’ve been told to “stretch it out” when you feel tight.

🔎 But here’s the truth:

That tightness is your body’s way of protecting unstable joints, not a sign that you’re stiff.

Muscles tighten to compensate for lax ligaments and overloaded fascia.

Stretching tells those muscles to let go... which actually leaves you feeling more unstable long-term.

🔥 What should you do instead?

• Focus on postural alignment
• Strengthen your stabilizers
• Use gentle fascia release (not aggressive stretching)
• Train movement patterns that build tension integrity, not flexibility

➡️ Your hypermobile body doesn’t need more flexibility.
