FULL EYE EXAMINATION – This vital health check is often free under the NHS, and at only £29.00 for a complete private test including full visual fields screening and tests for glaucoma and diabetes, represents excellent value for money.

ENHANCED EYE EXAMINATION - We also offer the OCT as part of the enhanced examination at only £59.00 for a private test or £30.00 on top of an NHS sight test. Our state of the art OCT scanner is similar to an ultrasound scan but uses light rather than sound to look through the layers of the retina. When an optometrist looks inside your eye in a standard examination they can see the surface of the retina, but with an OCT scan we can literally see through the surface into the layers beneath. This tells us so much more and can help prevent loss of vision if problems are spotted early. Enhanced examinations also include retinal photographs, sometimes referred to as fundus photography. CHILDRENS EYECARE - An excellent range of childrens frames, all sprung jointed to cope with rigours of daily life! Lightweight and safe plastic lenses are standard. Wide range of free frames available. CONTACT LENS FITTING – Acuvue, Focus, Bausch and Lomb, and Proclear lenses form the central products in our range, but we can draw on a wide range of resources to suit all requirements.
