I'm a therapist and I wish more people understood that your body asking for help looks like this: Constant exhaustion. Low energy. Brain fog. Trouble focusing. Gut problems. Body pain. Sleepless nights. Pulling away from others. Isolating yourself. Arguing more with people you care about. Staying in bed longer. Losing motivation Feeling disconnected from your life. This is often your body's gentle way of telling you that your mental health needs care.
It's like your body is whispering, "Hey, slow down. Something's not okay." But we often ignore these whispers, pushing through the pain, the fatigue, the anxiety. We keep going until we hit a wall, until the whispers turn into screams. But what if we listened earlier? What if we paid attention to these signs? Your body is speaking a language you need to listen to. It's saying, "Take a break. Ask for help. Prioritize yourself. You don't have to do it all alone." Your mental health is just as important as your physical health. Give it the care it needs, before it's too late. You deserve to feel whole, to feel alive, to feel like yourself again. Don't wait for the crisis; act now.
