Hi all.
This morning receptions electrics will be off for around 2 hours for maintenance work. Unfortunately this also affects the phones! We are sorry for any issues this may cause. We hope to be back up and running at 11.30am at the latest.

APPEAL FOR CRAFTY AND KIND PEOPLE!

We no longer have a stock of syringe driver bags, which over the years have been lost or were no longer fit for use. We have previously had lovely individuals make these for us.

A syringe driver is a way of administering medication continuously, often used in individuals who are end of life, palliative or simply this is the easiest and best way to ensure they have continuous medication administered.

They can be a bit cumbersome, due to the giving set being quite long. Therefore to prevent them being pulled out, or getting caught, we like to give a bag for them to be used with which enables residents to still get around and also be offered a little bit of dignity.

If anyone is handy and has any spare time to make us one or two of these we would be ever so grateful, as would our residents.

We are looking for a green thumbed Gardener for 12 hours per week (negotiable to days) who may be looking for extra hours, or someone ready to retire/ retired who just wants to keep busy part time.

We have beautiful grounds, and we are looking for someone with plenty of gardening experience. Landscaping would be a huge bonus.

The role would include lawn mowing, keeping on top of the surrounding bushes, topiary and shrubs, weeding, and ensuring the grounds are kept well maintained in conjunction with our full time maintenance team.

Our artwork is now starting to go up in our reception area, and these pieces are from a local artist, Holly Wildlife In Ink who I thoroughly recommend!
We are getting lots of compliments so I wanted to share this with you.

We are also looking for some driftwood pieces for our table, and high quality reed diffusers to scent our reception area.
