Holidays can often impact on our mental health, the stress gets more extreme, the financial worries deepen, and the loneliness and heartache can brake a person.

For those who need some extra support or just share it on your feed to reach someone who might need to see the message right now.

Take time this holiday to give yourself some love 💕💕💕

It’s National Self-Care Week!

What comes to mind when you think of “self-care”? A bubbly bath perhaps, a night in watching rubbish TV or maybe even a walk in the woods? All great options and good ways to help us reconnect with ourselves and the people and places around us.

Self-care is a very useful way of improving your physical health too and chiropractic care can also be a fantastic part of a proactive self-care routine. By helping to realign your spine and reduce muscle tension, it can help to improve your nervous system function and lower your overall stress levels.

If you want to treat yourself and your skeleton to a little dose of self-care, book an appointment with us today and we’ll do our best to get you feeling fantastic.

We’re feeling very proud of our niece Harriet Hawthorne, all the way from Perth, Australia, who’s just released her brilliant new single Flowers Laced With Vitriol.

Harriet visited us in Preston back in 2024 and the photo below was taken at the ever-legendary Glastonferret (listening not performing).

What’s even more impressive is that Harriet writes all her own lyrics — and she wrote this particular track when she was only 15.

We think she has a beautiful voice and an amazing way with words. So, while she may live in Australia, we’re absolutely claiming a share of the bragging rights - And some backstage passes in the future.

You can listen to it on Spotify by clicking this link: https://open.spotify.com/track/4cG9ZbL3QxeGBiAI33Zuwd

It's Bonfire Night!

Nights like these can be lots of fun with sparklers, crackling bonfires and glowing fireworks but as the temperatures drop you might find yourself the victim of a pile of slippy leaves or just feeling a little bit more achy than usual.

Why not book yourself an appointment and treat your skeleton and make sure you're ready for tackling those darker nights and frosty mornings?

World Spine Day 2025

Back pain is one of the leading causes of disability around the world and it can impact our day to day lives, from affecting our finances to disrupting our mental health and overall wellbeing. There are, however, things we can do to help improve our back health and to support our spines.

We can eat a healthy and balanced diet full of calcium and Vitamin D to care for our bone health. We can stay active and keep our skeletons moving to reduce pressure and improve our mental health. We can make sure that we take the time to get a good night’s sleep to give our bodies the time to repair and of course we can visit our chiropractors to help keep on top of any spinal problems we may have.

If you want to help support your skeleton and think we may be able to help, book an appointment today.
