This Remembrance Day, we honour all who have served in the Armed Forces — past and present — and their families.

Sefton Carers Centre, in partnership with Sefton Council, is offering FREE 999ReUnite Wristbands to unpaid carers and families in Sefton to support their caring role and provide peace of mind. Ainsdale Medical Centre has been supplied with some to distribute to our patients.

These waterproof, soft, and adjustable wristbands contain vital information that emergency services, police, fire brigade, or ambulance can access quickly if the person being cared for becomes lost, confused, or needs urgent assistance.

No batteries are required, and the system is not a tracking device, ensuring privacy while still providing essential safety. Anyone with a smartphone can easily tap the wristband to access the information, even without the app installed.

We are currently contacting patients and inviting those identified in a caring role to collect a wristband at reception.
