We had a lovely visit at Daffodil Lodge this week from the RISE team! 💃🎄

Residents enjoyed a fun-filled session of gentle exercises, Christmas-themed games, music and a quiz – with plenty of smiles, movement and laughter along the way. It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved and enjoying the session.

A big thank you to RISE for bringing such energy and festive cheer into our home. 💙💛

From childhood mornings filled with excitement, to the traditions they still treasure today, We can’t wait to share these with our visitors! 🤶

Using carved potatoes and pots of bright paint, everyone has enjoyed making their own Christmas decorations

This week at Daffodil Lodge, we gathered for a peaceful poppy making session in honour of Remembrance Day. ❤️🖤

As we created each poppy, conversations flowed about family, service and memories that have shaped our lives.

Thank you to our residents for sharing their stories and to our activities team for helping us create these beautiful poppies.

Who knew cookie decorating could be such fun? 🍪💛🩵

Our Daffodil Lodge residents had a wonderful time getting creative in the lounge today, turning plain biscuits into colourful works of art and enjoying a well-earned cuppa (and cookie!) afterwards.
