An exciting opportunity for a Home Manager has arisen at Deanwood Manor Home in Orrell, Wigan.
Deanwood Manor is a large 50 bedded home that specialises in care for people living with dementia. The home is situated in beautiful grounds with secure garden areas as well as large garden areas.
Deanwood Manor was awarded a 'good in all areas' CQC rating in October 2019. Deanwood Manor has a current 9.9 review score on carehome.co.uk, Deanwood Manor combines excellent facilities with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that feels just like home.
Team Deanwood Manor recently won the Committee Nominated Award at the Wigan Palliative and End of Life Care Learning Hub Awards 2025, recognising the team's compassion and commitment to delivering exceptional care.
About the role:
- Managing and developing high quality services for all our residents
- Developing and guiding the team of staff.
- Encourage and instill a culture of care and continuous improvement across the service
- Actively working with staff, residents and their families, to help shape and develop a centre of excellence for person-centred care.
- The promotion of high standards of nursing care, following CQC and NMC guidelines, by ensuring all staff are managed appropriately and the Home runs in a smooth and efficient manner.
