Hi all, I havnt done a update in a little while as we had alot going on we spent some time in hospital with our daughter leah and then every bug hit our house so here's a little update on little Shannon 💚

Shannon got her cast in December and it was a rockey start but we battle along and on the 17th of March Shannon got sick and her belly was so sore she was just crying in so much pain so we made the decision to take the cast off and the relief she got was unreal she was free again, it had been 3months so it was due to be off soon, we cant get hold of the hospital so we have no idea what is next for little Shannon im going to add a picture of her back and as her parents we wont be agreeing to casting again, she was always overheating, always uncomfortable and giving her showers/baths afterwards was just so hard for her taking so long to dry 😪
We are hoping to stay going with the gofundme and hopefully get to the uk for them to take another look at Shannon and hopefully get a brace for her 💚💚
Its hard but we keep going and Shannon is just amazing 💚💚

Update on our little warrior Shannon 💚
So as many of ye know Shannon went under general anaesthetic on thrusday for her body cast but when she woke up she was trying to talk but making no sense,biting herself,slapping us banging her head off the floor, she was so distressed at first we taught oh no the cast but when the nurse saw her she knew shan had taking a reaction so we waited for the doctor to come back down to see her and she was then giving medication to sedate her thankfully that worked after two rounds and she became more relaxed honestly this was so frighten to see her like that 😢 her surgeon was of no help and kept refusing to come speak to us 🙄🙄 i have to say every nurse that dealt with Shannon that day where so kind and got her gifts and honestly tried so hard with us 🩷 we taught the cast might have to come off but they cut it back to allow more room and we will see how she goes its been so hard since thrusday as she keeps saying its sore and wants it off 😢😢 i just want to thank everyone for the kindness on Shannon's page we really appreciate it 💚💚 we have decided to keep funding to get Shannon to the uk for the brace as I dont think she will ever be able to go through casting again 😢😢

What a day that was we are only after getting out of the hospital after Shannon taking a reaction but is doing good now thank god ill do a proper update later or tomorrow once we are home and settled we are just so tired after what we dealt with.

We are all settled into the hotel just trying to get the princess to sleep 😴 please keep Shannon in your prayers tomorrow as she will be going to theatre where they will put her to sleep so they can put on her cast she's been so brave asking loads of questions too bless her 😊 we will keep everyone updated we think she's first on the list as we have to be in Crumlin for 7am so a very early start 😴😴

Hi all just getting a chance to give ye all a update about Shannon's treatment so next week she will go back into a body cast this is something we didn't want as its the one that can't be taking off and Shannon has sensory issues but we will give it a go and see how we get on, unfortunately they are saying now they can't provide us with a brace its so disappointing really and this means we will have to go back to the uk. We are currently trying to get into our new house before Xmas so I havnt had a chance to reply to emails and messages but I will try over the weekend.
Thankfully Shannon is on the mend and is back at school she's excited to be back 💚💚

I just want to say thanks so much for all the lovely comments about our new home we have been very busy trying to move before Christmas and then little Shannon ended up been sick since last Wednesday evening now her sister mollie Anne has it 😪 just a update on the phone call we were waiting for from Shannons surgeon never happened but we did get a letter to state Shannon is now on the waiting list for surgery if anyone knows if this is the norm that just incase later on or why did I get this letter as we hoped a brace would help her for abit anyways. Was hoping to ask but he never rang 🙈

We can finally share our good news with ye all that we have been waiting to tell ye, we have finally gotten the keys to our forever home and this house is going to make life so much easier on us as a family we are just so happy and excited ❤️

Sorry for the late update I ended up with the worst migraine yesterday 😫

So yesterday as most know we attended Crumlin hospital to meet with Shannon surgeon and as she's grown her curve is getting worse so we are trying to stop that or make it slow down, the brace we got here in Ireland didn't suit so he has agreed that he will speak to the team in London who help him out and look at helping us get a brace for Shannon but in the mean time Shannon has to go into a cast something we didn't want but its the only thing that may help her pain while we wait for her brace so by the end of the week we should hear back from him. We still feel like we're not been listened too and there just waiting until she gets alot worse so we are still going to try get back to the uk for them to look at Shannon too.

We do have some exciting news that we have been working on and we can share that with ye hopefully soon 🥰🥰

Tonight we are staying in Dublin as we have a very early start in the morning at Crumlin hospital let's hope we get some answers and a proper plan in place for little Shannon, she's fast asleep now she was in alot of pain after school today bless her 😪
