Yesterday we had the pleasure to welcome Leif Denti on another . Leif talked about one of his passions, creativity.

Creativity entails ideas that are novel, valuable, and feasible and creativity can manifest both when working alone or triggered by team interactions.

Some of the main learnings from this were:
🧠 Knowledge is the building block to good ideas.
🧠 To crack a problem and come up with good ideas there are 3 steps you can follow:
1. Do research: gather information about your problem in an unbiased way.
2. Focus: Do a list or mind map to summarize what you have learned.
3. Let go: You get your best ideas when you least expect them, so try to do something different where your brain just “runs free”.

Throughout the years we have been supporting companies of various size find the right talent for their teams faster and more efficient than traditional headhunters.

One of our promises to our members is to support them in their personal and professional development throughout their life and career. In these times, we are living up to that by running on various topics, yesterday we learned more about the impact will have on the talent-employer relation.

Yet another great event with our friends and fellow Novas from FounderNest, this time led by his Co-founder Felix Gonzalez Herranz.

A few weeks ago we launched that will allow Novas to hire other members, build an advisory board of experts, and look for the right investors via our trusted partner FounderNest, a matchmaking platform where the best entrepreneurs and VCs can find each other efficiently and transparently.

Yesterday we dug into our dedicated section within their marketplace and discovered how easy it is for our members to create their company profile and start looking for investors to fund their projects from seed to Series A, a delicate stage for every entrepreneur.

We also understood how the COVID-19 crisis is affecting fundraising and the best practices for startups to be appealing to investors even during this market situation.

Last week we had the opportunity to hold a webinar on remote working with Charlotte Ekelund, Co-founder & CEO of Teemly.net and Shahab Sayardoust, psychologist and Managing Partner at Omino Business Psychology Advisors.

Remote working has become a reality for most of the companies today due to COVID-19 and not all of them were prepared to face a situation like this, in fact, no one was.

During the webinar, we were able to learn the best ways to keep the team spirit in place, techniques that we can use to maintain that sense of human relations even from distance (understanding we are missing small-talk, gestures, eye-contact...) and how will the future of remote working look like after this crisis.

At the Nova Forum for young professionals a week ago, Sweden's future leaders and some of the most progressive companies gathered around the theme of Leadership Challenges.

Nova member Dominic von Martens, the founder of SelfLeaders, kicked it off with a talk on value-based leadership and how to identify your personal values. Then 24 co-creation sessions were held to help solve some of the companies most pressing leadership challenges and to share knowledge among Novas.

As always it was truly inspiring and humbling to hear all the great ideas and solutions. The energy level remained high at the after-mingle and continued into the early hours :) Thank you Novas, Capco, Nordea Sverige, Unibail-Rodamco, Saab AB, Tieto & Boliden, Sweden!
