Ready or not, a new school year is just around the corner! ✏️
Star Community Health KidsCare has a few simple tips for parents to help make the back-to-school transition smooth and stress-free for your children:

• Get Organized: Have your child prepare their backpack and supplies in advance so they're not rushing on the first day.
• Set Goals: Have your child think about what they want to achieve this year, big or small, and write the goals down.
• Establish a Routine: Have your child go to bed and wake up earlier to adjust to the new schedule.
• Stay Positive: Encourage your child to embrace new opportunities, make friends and ask questions!
• Remind your child to eat healthy, stay active, and take breaks when needed.
Wishing everyone an amazing and inspiring start to the school year!

THANK YOU to everyone who came out, participated, volunteered and helped make Star Community Health’s Community Carnival in Allentown a success. We were thrilled to welcome hundreds of our neighbors to learn more about our primary care, pediatric, women’s health and dental health care. All services are available to underserved individuals in our community, including uninsured and underinsured people. In addition to exploring these easily accessible services, attendees enjoyed carnival games, prizes, food, a book mobile, healthy living demos and a remote radio broadcast provided by our partners at Mega Allentown!
