Atria Bethlehem

Atria Bethlehem We're a vibrant community where older adults thrive, participate and enjoy a fulfilling lifestyle.

Atria Bethlehem understands the importance of seniors maintaining a healthy balance between independence and safety. That's why our Pennsylvania retirement community provides them with everything they need to feel secure in their surroundings and comfortable to participate in daily activities. You may choose from private studio, to one- and two-bedroom apartments - all of which are equipped with emergency response systems, kitchenettes and accessible bathrooms with walk-in showers. Residents enjoy three restaurant-style meals daily, the convenience of daily bed-making and towel service, weekly housekeeping services, and scheduled transportation to medical appointments, shopping centers and recreational activities. Additional support with personal care and medication administration is available for residents requiring assistance. We strive to help residents maintain independence while providing their loved ones with peace of mind. Atria Senior Living is a leading operator of independent living, supportive living, assisted living and memory care communities in 179 locations in 28 states and seven Canadian provinces. We are the residence of choice for more than 21,000 seniors, and the workplace of choice for more than 12,500 employees. We create vibrant communities where older adults can thrive and participate, know that their contributions are valued, and enjoy access to opportunities and support that help them keep making a difference in our world. As much as we would like to go outside and sled down the hill in honor of the Winter Olympics, we had to create your own games for the residents to compete for the gold. Eileen and Carol took the assignment seriously and won the gold in this event!Great teamwork ladies!

It is February and love is in the air! For Dick and Carol their love has never faded over the 62 years they have been married. They grew up in the same neighborhood and have the same birth date, a match made in heaven. We are so happy to see this couple enjoying their lives here at Atria Bethlehem together!

Carol is a resident at Atria Bethlehem and is such an inspiration to us all.
In 2005 Carol was diagnosed with breast cancer. Having two teenage girls to raise, working a full time job, Carol did not want to be continuously talking about her cancer struggles, she wanted to keep a normal family life for her girls. Carol began emailing concerned friends and family with updates and progress through her medical journey. With all the emails and responses she received she choose to document her fight with cancer by writing her own story called ‘it is what it is beating breast cancer using chemo, radiation, and email’.
Carol has beaten breast cancer and has been cancer free for 20 years! Her advice for anyone fighting cancer is to surround yourself with people who support you through your journey. Don’t try to do it alone.
Thank you Carol for sharing your story with the world and for being part of our Atria family!
