I've gotta say...I don't like Donald Trump. I never have. If..if he wins the presidential election..I will be very disappointed that everyone who has posted their allegiance to him..which is very much your opinion ...I will question your values. I am very serious. We will always disagree on our politics BUT I will not ever live my life as him. I am as competitive and opinionated as you...but I decide who touches me ... physically emotionally & ethically.
This isn't meant to be a political statement..I never stated anything political on this post...

I did not write this - but WOW does it speak to my heart!!! Worth the read.

Something to think about..

Barely the day started and... it's already six in the evening.
Barely arrived on Monday and it's already Friday... and the month is already over... and the year is almost over... and already 40, 50 or 60 years of our lives have passed... and we realize that we lost our parents, friends.
and we realize it's too late to go back...So... Let's try, despite everything, to enjoy the remaining time...
Let's keep looking for activities that we like...
Let's put some color in our grey...
Let's smile at the little things in life that put balm in our hearts. And despite everything, we must continue to enjoy with serenity this time we have left.

Let's try to eliminate the afters...
I'm doing it after...
I'll say after...
I'll think about it after...
We leave everything for later like ′′ after ′′ is ours.
Because what we don't understand is that:
Afterwards, the coffee gets cold...
afterwards, priorities change...
Afterwards, the charm is broken...
afterwards, health passes...
Afterwards, the kids grow up...
Afterwards parents get old...
Afterwards, promises are forgotten...
afterwards, the day becomes the night...
afterwards life ends...
And then it's often too late....So... Let's leave nothing for later...
Because still waiting see you later, we can lose the best moments,
the best experiences,
best friends,
the best family...
The day is today... The moment is now...

We are no longer at the age where we can afford to postpone what needs to be done right away.
So let's see if you have time to read this message and then share it.
Or maybe you'll leave it for... ′′ later "...
And you'll never share it....

Have y’all seen this? Each kid has their own snowman to unwrap and the bottom gift is a toy, the middle gift is clothing, the top is their favorite snacks, and the card is either cash or a gift card! Super cute idea and keeps you from going overboard!

The relapse and overdose rate has increased by 30% since March 2020. Mental health issues related to our lock down and the pandemic are especially hard for people with depression.
NAMI, The National Alliance on Mental Health has a 24-hour helpline: 800-950-6264.
Now, I’m asking my small corner of FB to follow suit: Could any two of my Facebook friends just copy and repost to share the helpline far and wide?
Just two. Any two. Say done.

This is possibly the funniest thing I have seen so far during this pandemic. Please take 1:48 seconds out of your day to watch! Beyond hilarious! Sorry in advance to all you husbands out there!

I grew up in Sandy Hook, CT during a time when everyone treated each other like Family. We went outside to play, we got dirty and we didn't eat fast food....we ate sandwiches, candy, pickles and snow cones. We played Simon Says, Mother May I, Red Light, Green Light, Hide and Go Seek, Jacks, Marbles, Tag, Touch football, Hopscotch, Double dutch, Checkers, Dominoes and raced against each other in the street. There was no bottled water, we drank from the water hose. We watched cartoons on Saturday mornings, walked to the corner store and rode our bikes for hours without a cellphone. We weren't AFRAID OF ANYTHING not even The Police. If someone had a fight, that's what it was...a fist fight. Kids didn't have guns when I grew up. The street lights were your curfew. School was mandatory. We watched our mouths around our elders because we knew If you DISRESPECTED any grown up you're gonna get HIT with whatever's close...
Re-post if you're proud that you came from a close knit community and will never forget where you came from!

Dear Teacher Friends, 💕

We were terrified.
We were not ready.
We didn’t know what was to come.
We did not want to change our ways.
We couldn’t imagine what each day would look like.
We were stressed, exhausted, overwhelmed, and anxious.

But fast forward 5 months.

We are ok.
We have adapted.
We are stronger together.
We are essential.
We feel our worth.
We make a difference and others know it.
We are proud to go to work.

I know many of you return to work in the next few weeks and it is scary but I promise it will be okay. Be flexible, be strong, be creative, and be proud! You are so needed and remember that now more than ever these kids need your love and support.
We’ve got this and this too shall pass!

Just thought you could use a little encouragement from some people who have felt what you feel.

Love,
Your Friends in Healthcare!♥️

Got this from my friends page. Best thing I read today!!
So well said!!

I don’t know who wrote this but SOMEONE FINALLY put into words what I’ve been thinking and I couldn't agree more!

I’m sick of covid-19.
I’m sick of black vs. white.
I’m sick of Democrats vs. Republicans.
I’m sick of gay vs. straight.
I’m REALLY sick of the media.
I’m sick of the language being used and plastered all over the media...
I’m sick of no one being allowed to think what they want & feel what they do without offending someone.
I am sick of the people who are out there jumping on the bandwagon to protest just to cause mass confusion and more hatred and to riot, loot, and destroy...
I am sick of blaming the world for the sins of a few.
I’m sick of people who think that 160yr old history is our fault... it’s history... get over it!!
We’re one race—the human race. We All Matter!!
You want to support President Trump? You do it! It’s your choice.
You want to support Biden? Fine... also your choice!
You want to believe in God? Awesome! believe in God.
You want to believe in magical creatures that fly around & sprinkle fairy dust to make life better? ... you do it!!

BUT how about being mature enough to be able to deal with the fact that everyone doesn’t have the same exact mind-set as you. Having our own minds is what makes us all individuals and beautiful. If you can’t handle that fact....I’m sorry!! I don’t have to agree with everything you believe in.

So be a decent human being. Love one another, be kind, be humble, be thankful, help a stranger and do a good deed, daily!

Copy and paste if you agree.

So I am again doing what everyone else is doing. It's ridiculous to have so many friends and only 25 are allowed to see posts.
I tried this early and am doing it again because It WORKS!! I have a whole new news feed. I’m seeing posts from people I haven’t seen in years.
Here’s how to bypass the system FB now has in place that limits posts on your news feed. Their new algorithm chooses the same few people - about 25 - who will read your posts. So hold your finger down anywhere in this post and "copy" will pop up. Click "copy". Then go to your page, start a new post, and put your finger anywhere in the blank field. "Paste" will pop up and click "paste". This will bypass the system.
If you are reading this message, do me a favor and leave me a quick comment...a "hello," a sticker, whatever you want, so you will appear in my newsfeed‼️It WORKS!!
