Founded in 1971, Miller-Keystone Blood Center (MKBC) is the only community blood center providing blood products and transfusion services to your local hospitals in Eastern & Northeastern Pennsylvania and Western New Jersey. MKBC is a member of Americaโ€™s Blood Centers, a national network of independent, non-profit community blood centers that provide approximately 60% of the blood products transfused in the United States. MKBC is one of the nation's best-regarded, highly experienced blood centers, with a commitment to high quality and service excellence in compliance with FDA requirements. Established in 1971, Miller-Keystone Blood Center (MKBC) is an independent, not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) community organization that serves as the only blood provider to 28 hospitals in Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Dauphin, Lehigh, Luzerne, Monroe, Northampton, and Schuylkill (PA), and Hunterdon, Warren and Mercer (NJ) counties; only blood donated through MKBC is transfused at these facilities.

Miller-Keystone Blood Center is not affiliated with the American Red Cross. MKBC is a member of Americaโ€™s Blood Centers (ABC), a national network of independent, non-profit community blood centers that provide approximately 60% of the blood products transfused in the United States.

Not-for-profit, Pennsylvania-based MKBC is one of the nationโ€™s best-regarded, highly experienced blood centers, and our history of compliance with FDA requirements demonstrates our commitment to quality and service excellence.
