🌟 Getting to Know Our Angel, Jayla 🌟
“I’m truly honored to be featured as this month’s Angel Spotlight. Outside of work, I’m fully embracing my mommy era, which has been the most meaningful and life-changing season of my life. I have a beautiful five month old son who completely lights up my world honestly, he’s my whole personality right now. Alongside my wonderful fiancé, my family is my greatest blessing and the reason I strive to give my best every single day. Nothing means more to me than spending time with the people I love most.
In my free time, I enjoy doing Pilates, watching movies, baking, and thrifting. I love the comfort and joy found in simple moments whether that’s relaxing with a good movie, creating something homemade, or finding little treasures while thrifting.
My decision to join Visiting Angels comes from a very personal place in my heart. My grandmother has Alzheimer’s, and witnessing her journey deeply changed me. Seeing someone you love slowly need more care and support opens your eyes to how important compassion, patience, and dignity truly are. I wanted to turn that experience into purpose by being there for others who may not have the same support system or someone to advocate for them.
Working here has completely changed my perspective on life. It has taught me to slow down, appreciate the small moments, and value the connections we make with others. Being able to bring comfort, companionship, and kindness to someone’s day is incredibly fulfilling. Knowing that I can make even a small difference in someone’s life reminds me daily why this work matters so much.
I’m grateful to be part of a team that leads with heart, and I’m proud to serve others in a role that allows me to give love and care the same way I would want my own family cared for.”
