We are so grateful for the amazing group of volunteers who joined us on Sunday, October 26th, and for all the work they accomplished! 💛

Every pair of glasses sorted brings someone one step closer to seeing clearly. 👓

Our first mission team has finished packing, but the next groups are running short on certain powers — and we still have thousands of neutralized glasses waiting to be sorted.

Join us for a Sorting Workshop — or let us set one up for your team or clinic at a time that works best for you! We’ll be there to help you get started, and soon your team will be able to run sessions on your own.

We had a productive VOSH workshop yesterday! While packing glasses for the next mission trip, we enjoyed meeting new people, sharing stories from past and upcoming journeys, and building new friendships, all in the spirit of improving vision and changing lives.

VOSH volunteers - we are in need of 2 more Optometrists for the Feb 14 to 21 ( date change from original) mission to Antigua Guatemala. We will be working with the organization Common Hope centered in St Paul. They have a clinic and compound on the edge of the city of Antigua. They work all year doing things for the people in the out lying villages.

Common Hope supplies transportation, meals and rooms for a fee of $800 per person. Besides those things the money is used to bus people to the clinic, pay translators and more.

We are each in charge of our own airfare.

Our Lion’s club has donated $500 to help with paying the fees for the boxes of glasses we need to take as luggage.

Have any of you considered asking your local Lion’s club to assist in paying for your expenses? Sight care is a major project of all Lion’s.

Please call with specific questions. We really need commitments soon.

Trip fees will be minimal.

Everyone needs to have VOSH dues up to date.

Our support staff is full except for any new Doctor’s traveling companions.
