We’re excited to be part of Women’s Wellness Day

Lisa Lounsbury of Art Lab Rx is a featured speaker, sharing how creativity can support mental health, even if you don’t consider yourself artistic.

This event creates space for real conversations around stress, identity, health, and everything women are navigating right now.

If that resonates, this is for you.

What if creativity is the self-care you’ve been missing?

At Art Lab Rx, we take a different approach to wellbeing, using guided creative practices to support nervous system regulation.

In simple terms, this is art to calm your nervous system.

Wellness Wednesday provides a structured, supportive space to:
• reset mentally and emotionally
• engage in creative, neuroscience-informed practices
• leave with tools you can continue using

No artistic experience required. Come as you are, solo or with a friend.

We’re growing… and we’re looking for our next Art Therapist 💛

Art Lab Rx isn’t your typical therapy space.

It’s a place where:
• creativity is part of the clinical process
• people are met with empathy and curiosity
• art materials help release what words can’t
• transformation happens in real, tangible ways

From our studio… to Maggie (our mobile art studio)… to the Break-It Booth, this work is about meeting people where they are and helping them move forward.

We’re looking for someone who:
• believes in the power of art therapy
• values connection and presence
• is open to doing things a little differently
• wants to be part of a mission-driven, evolving practice

Licensed or pre-licensed art therapists are welcome.

If this feels like a place you’d want to be, we’d love to connect.

🎨 Explore at your own pace, without pressure
🎨 Receive light guidance and support from a licensed art therapist

There’s a difference between breaking things and releasing what you’ve been carrying.

At the Break-It Booth, this is a guided experience, not chaos.

This is where you can safely let go of stress, frustration, or whatever has been building beneath the surface, and then transform it into something meaningful.

🎨 Guided by a licensed art therapist
🎨 Small, intentional group setting
🎨 A one-of-a-kind mosaic created from your experience

This isn’t about destruction. It’s about transformation.

If you’ve been holding onto something, this might be your place to release it.

Feeling stressed lately?

You’re not alone, and your nervous system isn’t meant to stay “on” all the time.

That’s why we created Wellness Wednesday at Art Lab Rx, a guided, creative experience designed to help you slow down, reset, and feel more like yourself again.

This isn’t an art class.
You don’t need any experience.

It’s a space to:
• Take a breath
• Create without pressure
• Release what’s been building
• Learn simple tools you can use outside the studio

Sometimes the best way to process what you’re carrying isn’t talking it through, it’s creating something with your hands.

🗓 Wednesday, March 25
⏰ 10am–12pm or 6pm–8pm
📍 Art Lab Rx

Spots are limited, and we keep these groups intentionally small.

👉 Learn more and register here:
https://www.artlabrx.com/wellness-workshops/

If you know someone who could use this kind of reset, feel free to share this with them 💛

The Art Lab Rx Story

Art Lab Rx provides art therapy sessions in treatment centers and workplace wellness workshops for corporations across the state of Minnesota. Both services are available on our mobile art studio, as well as in your facility.

Art Lab Rx Executive Director Lisa Lounsbury is a Board Certified Art Therapist and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Lisa combined her passion for art as a trained classical realism artist and her desire to help people when creating Art lab Rx in 2015. Lisa transformed Art Lab Rx into a mobile art studio named Maggie, bringing wellness workshops and art therapy to all.

Maggie has eight handicap accessible workstations filled with a variety of art materials. There is room for independent personal creation, as well as guided help from the Art Lab Rx trained professionals. Should nature call, a restroom on the bus allows people to remain within Maggie’s creative space. Running water, HVAC and a calming interior design provides a safe, comfortable and inspiring space that can be used anywhere during any season.

The process of art therapy allows an individual to release their emotions and kickstart a sense of relief. Their journey continues as the art product reveals to them its meaning and circumstances.
