Even though I have over 30 years of experience with birth and infant care, I just recently decided to become certified and make it official! In 2014 I completed my final certification and am now double certified as a Birth and Postpartum Doula. I give my client's and their partners an enormous amount of my time including 2-4 home visits prior to the birth, and unlimited texts, emails, and phone calls from the date of hire. I also make myself available for prenatal appts, if wanted and I am on call 24/7 for the birth month. I also provide private, hourly consultations, and prenatal education classes.

Happy World Doula Week Everyone! The best part of being a Doula for me is being able to comfort another person when they need it most. I have found that my training has poured over into every relationship I have, not just those expecting babies :-) I hope you're having a great week, and go comfort someone!

Happy Sunday Everyone! With World Doula Week coming to an end, I thought it would be a great time to make a very special announcement.......I'm opening my own Doula Practice in Dundee!!! I have signed my lease and picked up my keys :-) :-) :-) I will be located in the Solstice Body Arts Building across Hwy 99 from the La Sierra Mexican Restaurant. It is a nice big space with a cozy fireplace. I will be providing private consults and Childbirth Preparation Classes. I cannot wait to make a million precious memories there!
