✨ Exciting news! I’ll be sharing a story close to my heart at Medicine Story, a live storytelling event at The Nevada Theatre on Tuesday, June 3rd at 7 PM.

I’ll be joining three other physicians on stage to share moments that reshaped our understanding of healing. My story honors my mom, Dr. Lisa Moon, and is about my journey home, what it’s meant to join my family’s optometry practice and connect more deeply with this community.

Many of you knew my mom, Dr. Lisa Moon—co-founder of our practice and co-founder of Community Asian Theater of the Sierra (CATS). This year’s CATS play, “Where the Mountain Meets the Moon,” is extra special. My sister, Allison Chan, directed it in honor of our mom’s legacy—and it’s absolutely beautiful.
